To be fair there as well, we had 1 central post. And again, much like people isolated the issues with the Benchmark by race, the other Forums isolated the issues to be more specific and on topic.
Don't act like its just a Healer Forum problem.
I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

Right, but there's a difference between something like "[Benchmark Trailer]: Viera Feedback" and "Benchmark Highlander left nostril is 3 mm wider than right nostril"
Sage has failed to live up to the fantasy of a sci-fi DPS healer. Please change this for 8.0. Make Sage fast, exciting, and aggressive. It should feel like a healer that plays like a DPS. Empower the aspects of Sage's unique healing mechanics: Kardia and Eukrasia to give its healing playstyle more identity.
The difference being what, exactly?
Reading the activity on the English forums is well within the realm of someone who can take an hour for lunch and read some things, and has been for quite some time.
I'm mildly curious how this moment will compare to when details for job actions and whatnot are made public. What is it that people truly feel like complaining about?![]()
The difference is one is a thread, and one is a post that belongs in a thread. And it's actually to the benefit of the people with concerns they're trying to voice. Feedback is next to impossible to organize in this repetitive and hyper specific thread bombing, meaning there is a lot of feedback that is going to be missed because you can't even tell how many people agree with any one piece of recorded feedback. Remember Raubahn Extreme? This is basically that in thread form. Having 5 different threads about lips is not a helpful way to make sure any specific feedback about the lips is clearly understood to the team you're asking to fix a problem with. The difference being what, exactly?

I think everyone who feels strongly about the graphic update are absolutely entitled to feel the way they feel, and I do hope that their feedback is heard and that the management team is able to collect feedback about things that people are in large agreement on, but so much of it is going to be lost in this thread mess.
Really it's more on the community management team to try and set up the forums to collect that information rather than the players for thread bombing the forums. We've seen already how passionate a lot of people are about the graphic update from the teasers we saw leading up to the last live letter. There should have been more structure in place to receive that.

Ya so Many threads could just fall through the cracks with so many there are since they have said it's the more popular threads that they tend to see.
This is one if those rare times I wish the mods would intervene and condense all these threads into one per race for benchmark feedback
Threads that were at the top of the homepage yesterday have been shoved back as far as page 7
Amen. I would only add that it's a particularly unfair comparison since in the case of the healer forums there are players who have been commenting son some issues over the span of multiple years. The difference is one is a thread, and one is a post that belongs in a thread. In many CFs, these threads would be shut down if they were just replicating the same thread topic over and over. No one with any power to act on them wants 100 threads with the same topic.
^to be fair while it’s the same 15 people circling the same topics the healer forums have mostly condensed into about 3 megathreads, we don’t really bother to make new threads anymore
It will be interesting to see what happens on these forums over the next few days.
