    Ha! Well, Semirhage, at least your comments can be funny. They speak the flat truth but it can trigger others to chime in with their own jokes about how they really feel about healers. But yeah, my fears is that they have literally forgotten about the crowd that helped this game stay online all these years and are too eager to only think of new players. They really need to find a balance on how much attention they focus on new players and veterans alike. I just think that's a healthier way for them to look at things overall.

    Hoping to see more healer gameplay variety love in the 6.1 patch notes that include specific job changes, but I’m pessimistic at this point. Hope the director sees this thread at least and considers writing a formal and less dismissive blog post about the feedback.

    I find a game that did that well was Tera. Yeah you were doing a shit ton of "DEX Checks" but you were actively doing "INT Checks" and if you fucked up you usually had something just as good as what fucked you up to counter it.

    I.E. die in 0.5 seconds after the boss turns? Well you have a free revive buff you placed on yourself either before the fight started or during. You also relied a lot more on boss tells, how they were moving and their attack patterns more so than randomly dodging and if the boss did do random attacks then you would know they were going to randomly do it so it kept you on your toes waiting for it. That said Tera is a shit game, but the combat.

    They 'deleted' selene because they removed her AoE Esuna because they made a fight that required you to cleanse 6 people to clear it and with selene being able to cleanse all 6 with a single press of a button in an instant you would just be trolling to not take a SCH regardless of how well they did later in the fight. It's just more developer failure imo. If you have to bring things down, instead of up to make them equal they will never be truly equal.

    Let's also mention how is that were the case on top of allienating the veterans it would only work while leveling, as soon as someone hits endgame due to the weekly limits in savage loot/tomes they have to pick a role if they want to get the best gear they can and I doubt a oversimplified/unengaging version of healers can compete against the tanks or dps which share a better design and feel more impactful the majority of time

    You mean DPS. Tank gameplay plummeted in 5.0 when they tweaked stance dancing to emnity on, emnity off modes. As well as some other changes in 4.0 which made me personally quit the role.
