Geomancer is canonically just AST so even if they remove all elemental spells from WHM they still won’t just release GEO as a class because it functionally already existsI love the holy magic theme going for white mage personally. It's what I always wanted. Final fantasy white mage never had all these elemental spells, it was leftovers from 1.0, but traditionally in final fantasy white mage always had holy magic. I personally wish they went with yellow/white color theme instead of white/blue for our glare and dia spells but this is a lot better IMO than throwing rocks. Stone 4 was such an awful animation and none of the stone nukes in this game ever really looked....cool. Neither did any of the aero variations besides aero 3 which IMO we should get back but light themed. Not to say dia or glare looks particuarly cool either, they're pretty boring but still look much better and cleaner than all variations of stone + aero 1/2 IMO.
I hope they keep on the trajectory and strip white mage of all it's nature theme so eventually they can release a geomancer class. I don't really care what geomancer is but I'd like to have a form of geomancy in this game. Be it caster DPS with nature magic, tank or whatever.
I think the last part you touched upon is the part they need to change the most. Guys play healers/casters too you know SE....can we please not have so many frills, ribbons and dresses? Or at least let there be male/female variations. The P4S, & 24 man chest pieces released so far are awful on guy characters. They're so feminine. It's awful playing a healer/caster as a guy. There's very little glamours out there that fit the theme of healer but also looks good on guy characters.
