In the LL they indicated that all housing in 6.1 will be Lottery due to the shortage of housing on servers.

Now, certainly that is true for the established servers where there are 4 established 1st come 1st served systems that have operated for years. So those servers are only adding Ishgard under lottery.

Materia on the other hand has no established housing.

Can we at least get 1st come 1st served for the pre-Ishgard housing areas in Materia?

They've started a few threads over in housing catagory on the forums

I agree, maybe we could have the old districts open before 6.1 as fcfs (first come first serve), so then we can help out our new DC now, and it'll be less stress on the servers and players in 6.1 when everyone wants Ishgard/Emperyum at once. 1 district open instead of 5 at once.
