Boy, what a terrible experience - the worst I've ever had in 8 years playing this game. I feel incredibly disappointed, defeated, and that honestly I should just quit this game.

This instance, with its grueling and cruel two time Doom mechanic, is soul crushing. I felt like I've learned NOTHING in the years I've run all the numerous dungeons, trials, and raids that I've run.

Normally, Savage level content is great! It's used to get amazing gear.

    ...Not to continue story arcs.

Between the absolutely horrid excuse for a "duty finder" that doesn't set up proper parties to actually BEAT this raid and the soul crushing mechanics, I'm really upset and astounded this is side quest STORY content.

Likely this will get buried, and no one will see it nor care. You all just made an 8 year player want to quit. Apparently, I'm very terrible at this game.
The first time is always rough. It doesn't matter what you have cleared prior to this.

The two fail Doom mechanic is required. Since any job can tank, heal, and DPS, the damage from the mechanics are low. If the two fail Doom penalty was not there, groups could easily just heal their way through the raid.

I have ran DR a little more than 100 times. I have seen no tank runs, all DPS runs, etc. Yet, somehow we been able to handle all of the mechanics. You do not need the traditional set up, you fill the gap with essences and lost actions. The game hands you enough of those to get through DR a handful of times.
