The current requiescat and atonement stacks system is amazing and this system should carry out to other tanks that majority feels to have bloat. Both atonement and requiescat allows some room of adjustment in normal to hard contents or extreme contents with PUGs. For example, let say you start 1 to 2 GCDs late in fight or flight, and the boss runs away from you, or you you needs to run to away from the boss, you can start using requiescat and proceed to your spell rotation, and then goes back to atonement because requiescat does not takes away your atonement.
This flexibility come at a cost of drift your melee rotation out of windows, or you have to Confiteor early. However, this cost make sense and it's ok in normal contents. The intuitive of rotation allows player to be in control and choose in most situation and readjust accordingly, I believe we should carry this stacks system to more skills and ability.
It is in these intuitive that I hope much QOA come to other tanks.
For DRK:
1) Please, bring bloodweapon to 5 stacks system to help alleviate ping issues or use AOE in dungeons pulls.
2) Please remove MP cost from TBN and increase CD time accordingly. There's no reason to have mitigation at a cost of DPS.
3) I believe we can go away with salted earth button and add that trait to abysmal drains to make it drain HP and DOT
4) Make abysmal drain independent of Carve and spit; of course, potency can be adjust accordingly. This system would inherently bring some HP drain back to DRK and relieve the burden from healers to GCD heals on DRK. Also, it remove bloats. It can either DOT for a long period of time or hit at a stronger upfront potency.
5) I also believe we can incorporate shadowbringer into a flood of shadow upgrades, and introduce a new edge of shadow upgrade accordingly. Currently, we used SHB in only burst mode anyway for High-end raid. For dungeon, it just another button that does not feel substantial when pressing So, if we just buff Edge and flood accordingly, I believe we can reduce the bloat even further and we still spam Edge/flood of shadow abilities we love; we are edgy of course.
6) Oblation can be an upgrade of TBN that include regen on shield pops or another 1 shield of 10% to 15%. Currently, Oblation is a placebo. We use it to prevent over capped when we could but it does not feel substantial.
