My outline for a Chemist healer: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/513527-Healer-Concept-Draft-Chemist
You can't be serious.
Are we looking at the same pictures? To me, they look almost the same as before, just with higher res textures and better lighting and shadows.
Nah, looks good, it still looks stylish but not low poly anymore, I think that's great compromise.
Pretty much, it's way less drastic than the graphical update for WoW.
I think WoW nowadays looks way better than it used to but it definitely looks significantly different.
The pics they showed just looked like better versions of what we've got right now.
To be fair, they were also building off of 2004 assets to begin with. While tech has exploded exponentially, the ARR models were built off of stronger foundations. The update that took place in WoD was more dramatic because it had to be, but ARR just needed some good TLC (and better lighting!!) It was also because they were remaking models with so few polygons that people had projected the missing details onto, while FFXIV models are pretty detailed from the get go.
ok, point to where the charm is exactlyplease reconsider updating the characters graphical appearance. gear and areas might not be bad, but if that preview is what we have to look forward to its just going to ultimately ruin a lot of the current charm in the game, itll completely rob the game of its familiarity with those who have been with it for a long time, and itll completely take people out of it when they see these npcs that dont have some random graphical update.

old good new bad
im baby
Honestly, I was thinking the updates didn't change enough. As I play a femiqo, I found that the sample femiqo they showed was barely changed at all from the current model. I'm glad they said they're still trying to push it harder and farther than the samples.
