I'm quite certain they'll nerf the rewards and the overall playerbase fully deserves it.

The "majority deserving it" part is a bit harsh but the overall point is correct. The reason for the high rewards (large number of people needed for a long and undesirable duty) is being reduced or removed. It would be nice if they can add some new roulette types to fill the gap but I don't think they'll be doing anything with the generous rewards of this one again.

I would not be surprised if the cutscenes become skippable again and a note added recommending that the player use trusts if they want to see all the story at their own pace. If the dungeon structure is actually reviewed, they might even shift some cutscenes into mid-fight voiceovers.

The mention of addressing eight-man content in 7.0 (aside of raising the possibility of story mode Coils at last) could also potentially lead to them rebuilding one or both stages of the Ultima Weapon fight as a trial and cut that – and the related cutscenes – away from the Praetorium running length.

The thing I am worried about is not having another roulette to get to the level 90 cap of tomestones when I get there. If they balance it with another roulette I will be satisfied all regular tomestones for gear from 50 to 80 you use the same tomestones having that extra roulette allows for getting the gear in a timely fashion. I also hope with all hope that they fix the leveling roulette scaling for giving proper xp per level, at least I wont get garuda anymore in leveling roulette with a bunch of people with all level 90s wondering why I am even there in the first place. It is like this for copperbell. If you get copperbell at level 56 you get a quarter of a level sometimes less this is with the fc and food buff when before it scaled giving a level or close to it from what I remember pre EW.

Also yes please for the love of god crystal tower raid maybe a separate roulette or requiring your level to match item level so people stop dragging me into that for a 'roulette' to go afk. maybe have crystal tower split with something else and than big boi alliance raid roulette for people who wish to play the game and get something other than crystal tower raid forever forever at any level always!!! I live there please send help I just want any other raid series, I have been getting only sycus tower for two months now I am sick of it! I would even be happy with wod just something please anything!!

I didnt watch it, just the quick wrap up but didn't they said it was gonna be after 7.0 that they'll maybe work on it? That for all of the 6.x they are adding trust to everything else?

The ARR revisions and Trust dungeons are supposedly coming with patch 6.1.

Fare-the-well, ez exp. Thankfully all my jobs are at 90 so it won't hurt to see it go.

They mentioned that story adjustments are being made so the dungeons will be Trust compatible. I would imagine that's going to hold especially true for Castrum and Praetorium. Most of the existing cutscenes may be getting replaced if not outright removed (those searchlight cutscenes in Castrum really need to go, they're pointless).

With Trust being an option for those who want a "full" experience, there's no need for MSQ roulette to exist anymore. Castrum/Praetorium can get rolled into one of the existing roulettes instead with cutscene skipping allowed.

Guess people will learn to be more careful what they wish for. No more forced cutscenes - but also no more crazy bonus XP/tomestones.
