I just hope my 1080ti will be able to handle it. Won't know until it happens though. I really don't want to have to switch to playing the PS4 because a new PC graphics card is not int he financial picture.

+1, I hope the graphical update also comes with better optimization as well. My performance took a real hit in 5.5 (or whenever it was they introduced the new name plates) and thatvs a bit worrying as good as it looks.

1080ti is way closer to the current gen consoles than it is to PS4 in raw power.
Your 1080 Ti should do just fine with the new graphics. It is STILL a very powerful card! As for myself, my system with its 10th gen i9, two SSDs and a 3090 card should be able to rock all of this.
