Xenogears Crossover Event

This is the sort of thing a lot of the older JRPG fans would dig. They could pull in Fei, Elly, and Citan (or Bart) for it. Maybe even have Id or Kahran Ramsus make an appearance as the final boss of the event.

A scaled down version of Yggdrasil, Weltall, or Welltall-Id would make the perfect mount reward. The lattermost of these could even be made relatively cheaply by using Cruise Chaser's skeleton and some of its animations. Overall, Weltall-Id is probably the one a majority would prefer. Heck, given the Yggdrasil's design, they could probably modify the whale (or Lunar Whale) into a miniaturized version of it. They could put the mount up on the online store after the event ends for a fairly substantial profit given how epic any of the options would look - though again, Weltall-Id would be the smartest option.

I adore Xenogears but I wouldn't want to see a crossover. They'd just be doing something to keep their claim to the rights unless they involved Monolith.

They've already utilized the IP in other SE products fairly recently. In fact, I believe there's a crossover event in Brave Exvius going on right now. The entire main cast of Xenogears was added as playable characters, including Id. They're in no danger of losing the IP.

They also put out Bring Arts figures. I just wouldn't want to see anything involving interacting with the characters without the original creators involved.

IIRC Gears is Square, Saga is Namco, and Blade is Nintendo.

So we can punch Weltall, but would have to wheel and deal with other companies before we could punch T-elos and Metal Face.

I just want Xenosaga to be playable on something other than the PS2 or emulator. People talk about Gears and Blade X, but Saga has been trapped for 20 years.

I could see this if they do a remaster of the game, otherwise it would be really weird to do a promotion for a game that's 20 years old at this point. At this point since the remaster trend seems to be slowing down a bit I would say it's not likely; but they could surprise us.
