Hi, how are you doing?
Not sure this post is going anywhere but I personally feel that this needs to be addressed right away. Roulettes are an issue, particularly the PVP and MSQ ones but "all" in general have some issues.
First, the MSQ roulette. People are leaving Castrum in mass as soon as they realize it's not Praetorium. Most of my runs (and I usually run with 1 or 2 sprouts from my FC for a 20% mentor bonus meaning 3 people are guaranteed to stay) end up with 2~4 players leaving right away as soon as the duty starts and a few more going AFK during the duty. This might be even worse as a solo queue.
This is an obvious problem that needs to be fixed. It seems like EW became the big Castrum exodus, and why? Because a lot of people had already maxed out their DoW/DoM pre-EW. When Endwalker came and with it a new level cap, people rushed to level all their classes again and they don't want to waste time on a roulette that gives only a percentage of what the alternative gives for similar time but a lot more effort since Praetorium is "run", fight small group of mobs, "run", cutscene, boss, small mech area, cutscene, boss, cutscene, boss, cutscene, boss, cutscene, boss. You can spend most of this time ALT+TABbed doing something else or watching a show on a streaming service.
Don't worry, I'm not going to suggest you implement a system in which if everyone votes they can skip the video as I know that would just cause griefing with veterans yelling at first timers to vote skip "or else" (potential kicks and/or general harassment).
The PVP roulette is actually possibly worse and unless some sort of "rating" level is added or other solution, you will still be rank 50 and be paired with a bunch of people that have no clue what they're doing or the most common, auto-run in their mounts to the enemy base so they can get killed and respawn, rinse repeat until duty is over to avoid getting AFK-Kicked because "I am only here for the XP". Yes, those guys with 12~14 deaths in your team, they don't suck horribly at the game, they're dying on purpose.
Trials and Alliance Raids? People remove their clothing so they fail the ilvl requirements of harder content so they don't get queued for it and re-equip it as soon as they find queue. After all, why do a Nier raid or Asphodelos trials when I can do simple and fast crystal towers or ARR trials? The %bonus EXP is the same.
I have many other concerns like how you guys sold a pre-order earring in which the biggest selling point was "you get to keep it even when Endwalker comes out" and instantly made the earring obsolete by announcing the stat crunching much further down the road, and I certainly won't be discussing class/job balance because those are like discussing politics or religion, I'll leave it for the devs and there's plenty of people already voicing these concerns with a lot more pull in the community (IE: Xenosys for instance).
