No Cloud fishing

Hello, I can not get cloud fishing to work anywhere in sea of clouds. Yes I am high enough level and have the skill.

No matter where I stand it will not give me the option to cast my lure and fish.

Have you verified you have a bait/lure selected from your inventory? It won't let you cast if there is none selected. The type doesn't matter - even if inappropriate it will let you cast then give you the incorrect bait message after a few seconds.

Are you also standing on the very edge of the island? Cloudfishing tends to be a lot more sensitive about where you're standing and even the direction you're facing compared to other fishing. When trying to find a Cloudfishing hole for the first time, I've frequently had to run along the edge and rotate my facing until I found the spot where the Cast action will become active.

The Sea of Clouds ( 15.1 , 38.5 ) Z: 0.5 is a very specific spot where Cloudfishing works if you want to give it a try. It's got a little leeway with where you stand and what direction you're facing so it's a good test spot.
