You should see that weird WHM rotation they figured out. Spaming glare instead of using any other skill ever!Hahahahaha what the fuck is going on here
God bless Endwalker for making meme rotations viable. What's next? Uncomboed enchanted Redoublement? Skipping job quests becoming a potential DPS gain (or at least neutral)? Single target overpower being part of the optimal WAR opener? -16s No Mercy?
Those last two are particularly likely if we get any cursed alignment fights.
Monk and Unintended Rotations, name a more iconic duo.
I love this. First we got a new Healer in Warrior, Glare Cannon White Mage, have seen Paradox Mage, 1 button macro SMN, and now Dragon Kick Monk. The gift that just keeps on giving.
*brb leveling Monk*
It's important to note a few things here. First is that the player in question, stacked a freaking load of crit to make DK higher value than the lost Bootshine and Chakra. That will not always be ideal (though it does raise an additional issue of if crit is even higher value than ilevel.)
The other is I believe his party timed their party buffs to also maximize his critting on DK (for example, through the Dancer) so this rotation is not going to be 99th percentile for any normal run with your party optimizing their total DPS.
Having said that, quite a few players have been doing it on Sea and Sky and finding it's nearly equal to the proper rotation in terms of clear time (i.e.dps) with much lower effort even with normal gear and and no party buffs so there is a real problem here that SE needs to address.

Yeppers. They need to delete Anatman, True Strike and Snap Punch. Waste of space now with the new and improved Chun-Li Thunderthighs rotation. It's important to note a few things here. You can play as braindead as a MCH and do 3x-4x the DPS. And the great part is with Blitz you can still do all your stuff when you refresh your buff/dot. And when you don't just alt DK and LFB.
So stack CRIT/DH or just Crit lol. Only time Bootyshine will overtake Dragon is if it's a direct crit. And be on your target's butt at all times. EZ game. Now you really are a kickass job that kicks everyone's ass all the time. Literally.
What are positionals?
This is actually so funny(but I get why it's an issue)
Who wants to bet what the next meme rotation will be, my bets are on WHM or one of the ranged DPS.
It honestly seems like SE actually didn't test anything before releasing this expansion. AST is broken, WAR is broken, MNK is broken, BLM is broken, PLD is broken, WHM is broken, DRK is broken, SMN is broken, DNC is broken, NIN is broken, SAM is broken, DRG it's broken..
I know Covid, but that can't possibly have been a factor in testing jobs. You can do that working from home after all

Monk had a Dance Partner so yeah he was getitng a lot more crits. Also, the top Monk logger on E1S had 1 TFC more than the DK spam rotation and he cleared 40 seconds earlier. It's important to note a few things here. Welcome to SMN and BLM my dude. SMN was tested to be good for casuals but its horrendous in raids. Paradox Mage. White Mage just being in a bad spot. Warrior being a better healer in 4men dungeons but a not popular pick in raids. SE did not get enough time to test things. Endwalker is the worst balanced expansion we've got to see.It honestly seems like SE actually didn't test anything before releasing this expansion. THIS HAS ALWAYS URKED ME WITH THE DEV TEAM!

They acknowledge that the a lot of high end players are much stronger players than the devs, and not to mention, how obvious it is that the devs do not play all the jobs....cough cough healers and smn....
I don't care if we have a pts or not but at least take our opinions during the development of preexisting jobs
