Let me hide the Eukrasia UI element

I don’t mind this being a customizable UI element for Sage, but why can’t it be hidden as an option? It’s already very clear to me when that spell is active, since not only is there a buff icon, but several of my spells also proc and remain clearly marked as such while Eukrasia is still active. Despite this, there’s no option to simplify my HUD some more by removing the Eukrasia UI element altogether despite it not really adding anything useful to me. I hope that any developers reading consider this for the next set of patch updates.

And yes, I’m aware that it currently has a smaller “simple” display option, but that’s not the same thing as hiding it altogether.

Because they had ideas for some jobs specific UIs, and then had to implement it on other jobs and were like "what's fun abut that job ? what mechanics does it have ? oh yeah, it has a buff ; that's fun"

It's more so because certain buffs are difficult to see without a secondary visual to help. Ex: TBN - if you apply it to yourself, it's not difficult to tell when it pops, but it becomes a bit more difficult to tell if there's multiple layers of other shields in addition to yours. Add on the fact that you can TBN another party member, and now you have to go toggle around other people to tell whether your skill popped and refunded a Dark Arts proc.

For SGE, it's easy to activate and forget you have it activated if you don't intend on immediately consuming the buff for whatever reason (ex: spamming Dykrasia during dungeon pulls with a phlegma or two after toxikon II prepull usage, but tank pulls a bit too early for you to get another prepull E. Diagnosis up). At the same time, it's so hard to justify Eukrasia to be on a gauge because there's not enough skills that work with it at the moment. The toggle is nice, but it's not a must have. You can pretty much ignore that gauge and hide it under other UI elements like overlapping it under a hotbar if you don't need it.

The three spells affected by Eukrasia are very visibly marked while the buff is active, so I don’t feel that it’s easy to forget that it’s in effect; I’m specifically talking about the action icons lighting up too, not just there being a buff icon on the top of the screen.

The giant Eukrasia UI thing seems silly to me.

Perhaps they plan to do something more interesting with the gauge in future, or had previously intended to do something and changed their mind too late to redesign the UI?

Minimal version, minimum size, corner of the entire screen.
That's where my SB WHM lily bar spent its entire lifespan, and that's where darkside and eukrasia gauges live now.

I acknowledged that there’s a smaller version that you can move in my original post; that’s not the same as simply adding a hide option altogether like you can already do with many other UI elements.

It would be nice to have that option, as well as the option to hide the entire gauge, or even better... an option to have the gauges only appear during combat.

As for the Eukrasia I actually made mine even bgger, because while it highlights the affected spells, I find very hard to keep looking down there every time I use Eukrasia, and I didn't want to bring even more spells to clutter the hotbar in the middle of my screen that I already use to track cooldowns and other things.

In retrospect, this didn’t add much new to the thread.
