Another Nier collab

I think this will be more in the fashion of the Dragon Quest/FFXV collabs. If they were to be done as raids again it would have been announced as part of the expansion during fanfest. The raids for endwalker were already announced to be about the 12.

If it's just a "replay" that would be fine.
If there's more lore from the nier side, that would be lovely.
I don't want there to be more dungeons.
Maybe a quest that runs me through them each day, sure, if the rewards are good, I'll do it.

How quickly people turn. I was beyond excited for the collab at announce, along with so many other people.

The first tier was a fantastic experience, and I was excited to see where it would go from there. The last two tiers felt a little flat to me storywise, but the instances themselves were absolutely incredible.

I have zero complaints that Square tried something so out of left field. Heck, we even got another “safe” alliance raid series through the Bozja content for those that just couldn’t handle Nier.

"safe" lol. Second and third nier raid are way easier than the other raid series. Remember "wiping city of Mach"? Or the orbonne monastery that need to be nerfed? Even delubrum reginae has more wipes than nier raid. The only unique (is it though?) mechanic is dodging red balls which grows boring the time they're reused for second and third tier.

Well okay, the third tier have decent mechanics with the hacking mini game, but it's not hard or anything.

Yes, because nobody had actually played it yet. It was all potential and no disappointment at that point.

And then the first two tiers involved utterly lacklustre storytelling and the NieR fans telling the non-NieR fans "don't panic, it always starts out like this and all the big stuff happens in the third act" – not a particularly reassuring thing when we hadn't seen the characters enough to build a connection to care – and then the third act turned out to be a total mess that threw a heap of new concepts into the mix without trying to explain any of its imagery.
