Should just make it to where while Living dead is active your health cannot go below 1hp. During effect you heal for 10% of all incoming damage for 10s.
Simple as that.

The aim of using invul is to save Your CD as well as Healer CD. If you need to save TBN for LD or spend it to fix LD then it mean LD can't be expected to fulfill that goal.

I'm not sure about Holm+10% mitigation is going to be much different than holm but better than the current LD I guess.
but if you don't take damage and instead heal 10% from the damage taken then that mean it's like HG+heal. Obviously better than the current LD. Although I don't know how long can it stay when PLD community found out that it is a better HG.

Yes, that's why you would use Wraithform while at high hp and not low hp, but given that people make mistakes, using a tbn at the end of it's duration wouldnt necessarily be 'not saving' it, you would still be using it for its main purpose. Though if we are going to be able to recover that mistake on our own, yeah we would need sustain improvements, which DRK needs already anyway. not even something powerful, hell just unlinking Carve and Spit and Abyssal Drain and making AD cost 3k mana would fix the issue, we never want to use AD for single target anyway
See? In the end it will became HG unless you make a mistake. The question is how many time do you expect to make a mistake?
You can pretty much give up on them giving DRK anything even approaching the effectness of HG. As great as that would be, the reality of the situation is that SE has already said at least once they regret the fact Hallowed Ground exists in the first place. It's so powerful that it actually has to be a major consideration when designing encounters.

I remember as much, but it makes me wonder why not for Holmgang then? I don't see how they find Hallowed Ground to be so otherwordly when Warrior, the king of sustain, can use holmgang almost twice as often. You can pretty much give up on them giving DRK anything like HG. As great as that would be, the reality of the situation is that SE has already said at least once they egret the fact Hallowed Ground exists in the first place. And now we have a new champ aka Holmgang which overshadow HG because how easy it is to burst heal back. Moral of the story seem to be don't take it seriously.

Holmgang doesn't appear to overshadow much of anything in SE's eyes given that they're still using Hallowed Ground as the measuring stick for encounters.
Hence, don't take it seriously

Possible Idea:
If you activate Walking Dead, and your Simulacrum (Living Shadow) is out, it will kill the living shadow instead of you.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
