    How long after the launch of 2.0 will it take to see a new Disciple of Magic? 3 months or longer?

    Blue Magic. Necromancy. Geomancy. Summoning. Ying-yang Magic. Erm....there's not much else in terms of magic in the FF universe.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    I would be satisfied with any one of those rather than just two right now. There's Green mage, Time Mage, Mystic, Orator, and Calculator as well.

    My bet is Summoner.

    Staff. Buffs. AND the possible pet. It's all there already.


    well, either that or Time mage.

    Yeah, I guess Time mage makes more sense.

    Yoshi-P said it somewhere that just because Arcanist guild is in-game doesn't mean it will be the first new class implemented.
