Group in Prae trolling and the worst part nothing will happen

This is very likely the case. I've only ever seen vote kicks go up (I've started a few of them myself) when one person has been afk the entire run.

This is why the forums and reddit sub are annoying.

Someone comes and posts some tale of woe where they are the victim and all the bobble heads immediately start parroting "report them...brawk report them"

It's basically like..."you know you're only hearing one side of the story with them painting themselves as the victim, right?"

Really, that's just the default advice that doesn't require you to decide whether the poster is being truthful or not.

If they're being truthful, they should be told that's what they should do.

If they're lying, they should know it's not worth reporting (and shouldn't have been worth complaining on the forum either).

If they're truthful but wrong anyway, the GM will knock them back.

It's not our business to work that out.

Lol what a strange response tbh. We all know that FFXIV players ALWAYS have a legitimate, logical reason to leave duties and votekick people.

Like yeah duh we're only hearing the OP's side of the story. They can be that type of person to sit there AFK in Prae or maybe they got into some argument, whatever. But if they truly feel like the votekick was abused then what other recourse do they have lol? I guess we're only supposed to collectively believe that the OP is actually in the wrong and go ahead and blame them even though none of us know what led to the votekick.

My whole post is about the fact nothing will happen - reported the entire group and I'd bet my life on nothing happens to them - I'll keep checking twin to see if they've been banned but highly doubt it

Or, you could move on. You've done your report as you see fit, and now you're wasting energy and continuing to be annoyed by the possibility that these people are still playing the game. Dwelling on petty things isn't good.

I haven't seen vote kicks go down too often, but sometimes like in frontline/prae people don't really care and will just vote kick without looking at chat lol

Frontline is generally vote to kick AFK people, someone tries to come up with some excuse 'guarding base' more like they are disgusting the fact they are 'AFK' sitting on a mount and becoming a chew toy every time some enemy comes.

My guess is the OP was afk most of the run. I've been in a lot of MSQ roulettes, and the only times I've ever seen anyone even attempt it is when people are obviously afk and not participating at all.

I'm inclined to agree, especially seeing they've pretty much ignored every response made and only came back to basically say, "I'm stalking them to see if they get banned."
