If you're running it on mac you have a mac license right? this won't effect you unless you go to play using your steam license on windows. There is no singular "Account type"
unless of course you're running your steam version on mac using some hackjob of wine and fixes yourself, either way you have misinterpreted the whole account type thing.
Check your licenses on the mogstation.
