Players don't have to fear anything from a forum ban, it does not extend to an ingame ban so some take it as a challenge on how much they can shit on the forums until that happens. Plenty people are banned from the forums and play the game just fine.either way i have a hard time believing someone would be willing to risk a warning or a ban by posting this thread when they've done as much as they have which leads me to believe that either they truly do believe this and feel it isn't wrong to point out, or that they have no strong attachment to their character in the first place; possibly due to the reason i listed in the above sentence.
Panko crumbs is your breading cheat code.
LMAO ahahah I have a stalker now, here's another set of parses if you wanna dig deeper. Skiros's achievements are also publicyou are right but there are those who feel this way. during the initial exodus of wow players to ffxiv the main complaint on the wow /vg/ thread on 4chan and various places on reddit was that ffxiv was too "girly" and that the game was played by women and LGBT folk. i'm not going to go into specifics because it would quite literally get me banned but the consensus was that. in fact you can see a lot of memes related to it where they 'accepted' their fate by posting a screenshot of their horde guild where they're all orcs and then a screenshot of all their guildmates who had moved to FFXIV and started playing catgirls and lalas.
while these memes were made in jest a lot of them were used by the die-hard I AM SO STRAIGHT men as evidence to support these accusations (along with 4 year old twitch streaming data and data from google trends of when ARR came out) along with screenshots of GMs giving them the boot for being pretty terrible people and attacking others in-game during instances because apparently not being allowed to harass people and use slurs meant that nobody in this game has a spine.
op parses, he has fairly decent parses even. initially i believed they were being serious but seeing their numbers now i'm convinced either they're just messing with people OR they're using one of the many addons against the rules that more or less do your rotation for you and you just keep hitting the same button as it manages each skill and cooldown for you, thus inflating their parse.

tl;dr dude's probably messing with us but there are a lot of people who feel this way and anyone who uses op's supposed notoriety on this forum as an excuse to dismiss other people's opinions is simply admitting that they're terminally online and have nothing better to do than monitor some random dude in a mmo forum and expects everyone else to do the same.
if people can't tell you're being ironic then you're not being ironic, you're just being terrible.

This is true though, but aren't you now part of that for looking me up on FFLogs?

They are pink! Feminity confirmed!
Most masculine race is Highlander. I'd wager 80% of Roes and Hroths are IRL twinks. Don't even deny it!
fwiw, I never said there's anything wrong with FF14 being a more feminine game.
The aesthetic is one of the attractions for me to continue playing FFXIV over many “western MMO”you are right but there are those who feel this way. during the initial exodus of wow players to ffxiv the main complaint on the wow /vg/ thread on 4chan and various places on reddit was that ffxiv was too "girly" and that the game was played by women and LGBT folk. i'm not going to go into specifics because it would quite literally get me banned but the consensus was that. in fact you can see a lot of memes related to it where they 'accepted' their fate by posting a screenshot of their horde guild where they're all orcs and then a screenshot of all their guildmates who had moved to FFXIV and started playing catgirls and lalas.
It is very different cultures to the west, we are “subtle”. Some older generation still consider not shaving beards impolite. Many still think tattoo are connect to gangster.
