    Job Suggestions

    I love RDM. It was my MSQ job through ShB and EW and I love it’s style, ease of access, and weapon choice.

    I hope next expansion they get upgrades to Verfire and Verstone to something like Verfoul and Verglare. I think it’d be so cool to go from the iridescent colorful Glares to dark purple Fouls, to vibrant red and black Scorches in the same string of attacks.

    I’d love the melee phase to also look flashier. Not the finishers, but the actual slashing/stabbing we do. Maybe swords of light like Flèche attacking at the same time as us or faint red wispy copies of us attacking from multiple angles like a whirlwind.

    What do you guys think? Are there any non-balancing things you’d like to see in your fav jobs? Any animations you want beefed up or changed?

    I would actually approve of this idea.

    EDIT: Nevermind, I think I want Verfire III and Verstone III with summoning circles more.

    SMN's summons need to be bigger and brighter. I won't be satisfied until my eyes melt out of my skull and my brain catches fire from the sheer unadulterated splendor.

    I would honestly just prefer verstone II and verfire II. Veraero III is one of the best looking spells in the game, and verthunder III is great. I like that they don’t dip too far into either element.

    I do agree that the actual melee abilities could look better.

    would love this too. A scouting job that is mid-ranged with a whip. The gamblers are treasure hunters that try Nymeia's luck exploring dangerous places for that filthy lucre!

    Utility wise, they would compete w Ninja for the 60s TA esque buff, except the Gambler buffs allies instead of debuffing enemies.

    Gameplay wise, ;i see it as a job that relies a lot on luck and RNG, however this would dictate only their gameplay for the next 30 seconds. The dps would roughly be the same.

    I would love to see a melee dps based off Cloud Strife the Class would called "Mystic Knight" named after Clouds D&D class. The main weapon would be the iconic Buster Sword and his armor would be put in the Maiming category. The abilities consist of fast high impact sword strikes infused Fire,Lightning and Blizzard. This would finally give melee dps the two-handed greatsword we have been begging for also as another class concept a "Berserker" would be perfect as well!

    Monk: Upgrade Rockbreaker into a new skill and change the animation, it looks extremely dated and it being converted from a conal AOE to one centered on you hasn't done how it looks any favors.

    Add an effect to Riddle of Wind where it grants the status, "Six Sided Star Ready. Duration 60 seconds. Effect: Reduces Recast of next Six Sided Star" allowing you to use Six Sided Star without the doubled GCD. This lets us use the Shadowbringers capstone rotationally but letting it retain its effectiveness as a disconnect skill, essentially making it the best of both worlds. Reduce the duration of Riddle of Wind to eliminate however many autoattacks would equal out to to the potency gain of Six Sided Star.

    For the love of god give Chakra some overhead between skills being usable and the gauge being capped. Personally I want them to be non-RNG too and just build on Coeurl Form skill. I've hated them being on crits since they added it in Stormblood and I'll never stop hating it.
