Warning for "Grief" Tactics?!

Honestly, that's kind of noble and I wish more people had that mentality. There are some people who report people the instant they say or do anything they don't like. Just the other day I had someone tell me they were going to report me for "abusing the kick function" because I put "AFK" for the reason of kick. Sorry, "Disruption of gameplay" is not an option.

I am of the opinion that a proper use of the report function in this game is only in extreme circumstances. Such as constant, documented, harassment, extreme cases of stalking, scamming, blatant hacking, etc. Otherwise, a report is a complete waste of your own time and the GM's time. However, yes, many in this community feel the need to report another for anything they don't like. I do not appreciate this.

Certainly, the way that SE handles ToS enforcement is also, I think, questionable. I do not believe a player should receive a permanent ban, unless it is under those 'extreme' circumstances. Suspensions, sure, but the thing about this game is any infraction can lead to the permanent closure of a player's account. On top of the fact they withold details of any violation due to a privacy policy: meaning there is often times no way to properly defend oneself in an appeal, or truly correct one's behavior.
