No, a decay means the record of it is gone. It will be like it never existed. That is how decayed actions work.
I just witnessed Sturm's villain background. I'm surprised it wasn't happening years ago when we were getting smacked off the forums every other day.
This is an awful policy, the accused cannot properly defend themselves with no knowledge of what they actually did. I think the accused has a right to know what they supposedly did. I think that trumps the "privacy" of whomever was involved in. Sorry, not sorry.Good ol' SE. What you did should be in the email they sent you regarding the action they have taken against your account.
Either way it sounds and reads like you triggered someones snowflake syndrome, or you managed to aggrieve one of the many hyper toxic discord communities for FFXIV.
I wouldn't doubt it. I am so sick and tired of this. Even if you don't chat, apparently, you aren't safe. I know I am known in certain circles of people who lurk, and quite disliked by many. I feel like the former is more likely in this instance though.
Oh joy! As long as I don't get accused of griefing again in the next couple years, I am scot-free! I only have a record of "griefing" players for now, which will only make any future appeal against an actual strike even harder! Looks like it's time for me to find some static/FC and never do any content without them! Yeah, right! I've completed this expansions story, I can easily quit for the next two years instead, ready for the next one!
I had to edit that one post very quick! It's like I've said before, my opinions on this forum are actually very curated. Yep, we had our share of interactions with the forum mods, that's for sure. AT LEAST they actually send you the post which caused the infraction on here though. LOL.

Yeah but how many times did we look at those posts and go, "REALLY? This is what made someone cry? This was the straw that broke the camels back?"I had to edit that one post very quick! The community hasn't and won't ever change. It super stinks you have a mark on your account but I guess lets be happy it took this long. This is the EXACT reason I never talk in game and I just leave parties that I don't have fun with. Sneezing is a death sentence if a group doesn't like you. Hope you get it appealed.
I'm not convinced this is the entire truth. Unless one has been constantly dropping out repeatedly over a period of many hours, every day for a very extended period of time then maybe, but in the end I refuse to believe that a player would be given an infraction for leaving a dungeon. Ever. We're either missing something here or a GM was accidentally heavy-handed in which case there is a system in place they can use to appeal.I wasn't aware you could be infracted for leaving a dungeon in the middle of a run. Someone could have a legitimate reason to up and drop, stuff happens IRL. I've dropped before mid run more than once for a variety of reasons, but I've never been given a warning for it.
GMs don't tell you in-game because it could out the person who reported it. I know it's kind of nutty, but they also feel the player probably knows if they doing a ring of questionable behavior, they should stop doing it. It just doesn't help when they don't say the 'type' of action cause griefing can be a lot of things.
But if you d/c and not logout, or remove yourself from a party that is reportable, and it's spelled out that way in the ToS example list. Because if it happens at the beginning of a dungeon they have to wait several minutes to even kick someone, so they might have asked for a GM assistance in-duty and probably retaliated for this.
The thing is though, it's entirely possible there was a mis-communication and the other three were friends or familiar with each other. Even if a player doesn't do anything wrong, if multiple people report quickly, then it's sort of an automatic hand out that can then be appealed. Could Sturm have said something? Absolutely. Is it also possible that they were just being petty? Definitely. Appealing it will be the only way to see if the actions done and words spoke were, in fact, 'innocent'. And if they were, keep in mind false reporting can get one in trouble too.I'm not convinced this is the entire truth. If that is true then during the appeal process it will be revealed that one or more of those people in the party abused the report button; in which case I suspect that they themselves will end up with an infraction. The thing is though, it's entirely possible there was a mis-communication and the other three were friends or familiar with each other. OK, so first, calm down, don't do anything worse like "turning into a monster"
Second, appeal. Then wait.
Third, breathe. You got warned. Not banned. Not permabanned. You can still play. Just wait for your results.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
You really can't false report because they can see what people type, and actions that are declared. Like the evidence has to be crystal clear to flag someone. Like if you want to report someone being AFK in-duty, they are going to know, not simply because you said so.The thing is though, it's entirely possible there was a mis-communication and the other three were friends or familiar with each other.
