I thought simple leave and have 30m penalty is already enough? Reporting those already too much IMO...
Probably means if you DC to avoid 30m timers, if not could be open season but I doubt it.

I do not care how I sound like. Excuse me for having a real reaction on here, and vented a bit. I do not like marks like this on my account. Simple as that. It bothers me. I cannot stand it. I similarly have a spotless record in real life as well.Um.
Step back. Breathe. Go do something or listen to something that makes you happy.
Fill out the Account Appeal. And know that they're probably going to say it was justified and you're going to have this mark stay on. It's not fair. They really do need to look into their policy because it's almost impossible with the vague description to know what action was wrong and thus be able to correct ourselves in the future.
But you want to handle this like an adult. Your reactions on this thread are making you sound like a petulant child.
I do seriously doubt an appeal will do anything, as I do not know the circumstances. I do not know whether this is because I didn't raise somebody, or if it was due to me leaving a dungeon. It couldn't have been chat, since I rarely interact with anybody, especially not pugs.
The GM stating: "You do not need to know specific information." Is extremely concerning.

Probably won't. I got a 10 day vacation from here recently when I'd never even gotten a warning here or in game for calling someone a non-cursing name. You're probably never going to know anything further due to their privacy policy since they just stonewall you with policy statements. I'd do the appeal and see what happens, not expect much, and just try not to stress over it too much.I do not care how I sound like. Excuse me for having a real reaction on here, and vented a bit. Sorry to be tough on you, it's clearly hurt you and I mean no ill intent at all.
From reading you on the forums for many years you say a lot of good truths, and you have a lot of good points. However, you do seem to have a pattern of rudeness to anyone with sub-optimal performance. Patience doesn't seem to be a strong point with you.
It would be worthwhile you reading back through some of your dungeon horror posts. You will see a number of posts you made that show a pattern that can lead to a greifing report.UNBELIEVABLE. I literally cannot believe this. I cannot think of a single instance of me doing this. I have yet to speak to a GM, or contact support, but I cannot have this nasty mark on my account for something I never did. Ridiculous. I log in to cap tomes and this is what I am greeted with.
Again, sorry to say it. You are a nice enough person, and you do seem to have an incredible number of bad parties, and the warning is sure to sting, I know mine did.
Please don't take any of that the wrong way.

Forum bans are different. They seem to be handed out like candy, and at random. Some people can get by with no issue saying curse words on here constantly, and then someone else will get a permaban for "profanity" for saying something once. You can get banned for slander for wording something the wrong way, etc.. However, an in-game account action is much worse, as these are much more likely to lead to the closure of your entire account. Something many of us have spent thousands of dollars on.Probably won't. Yes, I have little patience for people with sub-optimal performance. I don't hide that. However, I do not go out of my way to harass or grief them. I say nothing and leave the instance, or keep going with no word said in chat.Sorry to be tough on you, it's clearly hurt you and I mean no ill intent at all.

Me not wanting to hardcast raise someone, or trying to have DPS uptime, shouldn't result in account action. I am not griefing. If the ToS is going to respect a player who is contributing nothing, and pressing random keys or clicking random skills, and dying constantly, then my own playstyle should similarly be respected.

Any mark on your account can. I looked that up when I got the ban because I wondered if there was some sort of progression system.Forum bans are different. I do understand your points, and so many times I feel for you as we have all had these parties. I just mention - and I am trying to do it with the real respect you deserve here because you have valid points - that your delivery and "shortness" might pop-out sometimes without you realising.
I'm going to wish you the absolute best in your appeal and clearing of name.
It's one you will also have to work to move past the sting, it's tough to do from my experience - a permaban in another game, and a warning here - and I hope you can do that.

I feel they should reset all strikes and revamp the report system. I feel they should add a silence ban (with timers, of course) instead of an account strike for things that happen in public chats.
I do think there needs to at least be a decay on strikes over time because being able to potentially be permabanned due to multiple minor offenses over the span of your account's life is kind of stupid when you can get punished for silly reasons like the mentioned "griefing".
