Warning for "Grief" Tactics?!

It may be the unfortunate incident of someone thinking you were trying to bail on them.
And after your DC you appeared to have had some sort of scuffle in chat which you decided to simply leave.
Maybe, and I'm not saying I certainly agree with this possibility, but perhaps the other three thought you were griefing them just due to the happenstance series of events.

If this was the instance that got me a warning (just a warning by the way, I didn't receive anything aside from that, so whatever I am accused of doing the GM didn't think was worthy of a ban).

Exactly, from the other players perspective you just bailed on them.

While recently leveling my DPS jobs I often had to wait 20+ minutes when I was direct queueing for the one dungeon relevant to their current level.
So if you were tanking, you potentially had two ppl (the healer probably didn't have to wait as long for queue) waiting just as long for the initial queue into their dungeon run, then having to wait again for a replacement after you left without any explanation. It's usually not instant when waiting for Tank or Healer replacements.

You clearly have a colorful enough vocabulary, writing any reason in chat, even if it's a lie, would have defused the situation.
"I'm not feeling well"
"My PC is acting up"
"My internet is acting up"
w/e

And if you're accidentally turning off tank stance, then probably need to reconsider your button placements...

I am under no obligation to give any player a reason for leaving a dungeon. I received my penalty for leaving, that is the punishment I knowingly took.

Weren’t you one of the “it’s not hard to be civil” people? The “I’ve played for so long and never had an issue” people?

I'm the one who has been saying for years to not chat with anybody, because I am paranoid about being banned. I am the one who doesn't use a single curse word, because I am paranoid. I can pull up probably dozens and dozens of posts about me having concerns over the horror stories of people being banned. My obsessive paranoia of being banned is all the proof I need that I would NEVER intentionally "grief" anybody. There is a reason I am having an anxiety attack over this, and it is because I DID NOT DO IT.

Good ol' SE. What you did should be in the email they sent you regarding the action they have taken against your account.

Either way it sounds and reads like you triggered someones snowflake syndrome, or you managed to aggrieve one of the many hyper toxic discord communities for FFXIV.
