Warning for "Grief" Tactics?!

Then you said it happened during the first boss.

There's no scenario where Tank Stance drops there unless you turned it off.

You need to think out your narrative better next time.
Tank Stance doesn't turn off when you log out, or when you die.
The only way for Tank Stance to drop in the middle of an instanced duty is for you to manually turn it off.

I have my tank stance bind close to another key I use for a defensive CD and a few days ago I turned it off without noticing at first, was an honest mistake. Even if SturmChurro turned it off something similar could have happen. Anyway, even if SturmChurro was an ass for whatever reason.... I don't know, the possibility to lose your account with so much time/money invested. I will get it if you go above and beyond of being an ass, like racist/bigot/wishing someone to die or worst. Having a bad day and a little bit of attitude... kick/block sounds enough.

This really doesn't paint you in a very good light. If you can react this way to GM procedure I have no difficulty believing you would react the same way to someone in game.

If I wanted to grief somebody in a leveling dungeon, it certainly wouldn't be me turning off tank stance on a pull with 4 enemies that don't even do damage. Come on. I don't know why my tank stance was off, that's why I DIDN'T NOTICE. Either way, it may have not even have been that one that I got a warning for.

Anyway, how have I been reacting? Because I will start working with the GMs and do my part with the community and report everyone who is breaking the ToS? In the half a decade I have played FFXIV I have never ONCE reported a player. I can certainly start though. I do not apologize for it. I should be praised anyway, I would be doing my part keeping this community great!

I DCed during a boss, respawned at start, did one small pull, and immediately after I left the dungeon and logged off the game for several days.

Refers to the act of obstructing another person's gameplay by intentionally leaving the game or disconnecting from the server.
Key Points
Since the game relies on internet connectivity, it is inevitable that there will be network disconnections or real-life circumstances which prevent you from playing the game. As such, simply disconnecting or remaining inactive in the game will not result in a penalty.

However, if a report is filed, a penalty will be issued if the following types of situations are confirmed to be occurring repeatedly:

Occurs right after entering a duty
Occurs when progress is not going well in a duty
Occurs when the team is about to be defeated in PvP

Even if there was no intention to interfere with others, repeated occurrences can be a nuisance to others. If you are experiencing network instability, or if you are frequently unable to play due to real-world circumstances, be considerate of others by refraining from participating in the duty/content, taking into account that you may unintentionally cause issues for others.

Please note that Square Enix may conduct investigations and issue a penalty in its discretion even if a report has not been filed if the act was confirmed publicly through online video, streaming services, or other means.

Will be interesting if that was the case. Pretty much confirm that anyone leaving Castrum as soon as they enter can get suspended if enough people decided to report. Fun times, fun times indeed.

Exactly, from the other players perspective you just bailed on them.

While recently leveling my DPS jobs I often had to wait 20+ minutes when I was direct queueing for the one dungeon relevant to their current level.
So if you were tanking, you potentially had two ppl (the healer probably didn't have to wait as long for queue) waiting just as long for the initial queue into their dungeon run, then having to wait again for a replacement after you left without any explanation. It's usually not instant when waiting for Tank or Healer replacements.

You clearly have a colorful enough vocabulary, writing any reason in chat, even if it's a lie, would have defused the situation.

"My internet is acting up"

And if you're accidentally turning off tank stance, then probably need to reconsider your button placements...

That's reaching a bit. Under no circumstance is leaving a party (while online, for that matter) a punishable offense. What happens prior in chat, however, might paint the situation in a different light. Context is key in any situation.

If this was the instance that got me a warning (just a warning by the way, I didn't receive anything aside from that, so whatever I am accused of doing the GM didn't think was worthy of a ban).

I am under no obligation to give any player a reason for leaving a dungeon. I received my penalty for leaving, that is the punishment I knowingly took.

I'm the one who has been saying for years to not chat with anybody, because I am paranoid about being banned. I am the one who doesn't use a single curse word, because I am paranoid. I can pull up probably dozens and dozens of posts about me having concerns over the horror stories of people being banned. My obsessive paranoia of being banned is all the proof I need that I would NEVER intentionally "grief" anybody. There is a reason I am having an anxiety attack over this, and it is because I DID NOT DO IT.
