Rule number 1 in Party Finder is that what happens in PF stays in PF. People will die, you will die. But still, do what you can. It helps to improve your own skill anyway. If someone is bad, let them be bad than arguing which is usually pointless.

Just expect the worst and be pleasantly surprised if it doesnt happen than to expect the best and be utterly miseranle when it doesnt happen. One thing I notice in PF/DF is that, once people are disappointed sometimes they throw out words out of anger. And while they might forget about it an hour later, the log stays and GMs can read it whenever.
