Maps being nerfed?

I've been repeatedly doing quite literally hundreds of level 80 maps for shell leather with my FC. I'm not even joking, we've done a hundred-odd of them now.

We made it to the end ONCE and not a single one of the maps has dropped a single thing of shell leather. It's insane. I am curious if they've done something.

That's because shell leather doesn't drop from the group 80 maps. Only from the solo maps.

Why would something be stuck to the solo map only? Everything I just looked up about it says 'Timeworn Zonureskin Map'

Including on the official website with people reporting where they got it from.

I didn't pretend to understand why it is labeled that way, but try it.

Like I said, try the group maps. Guarantee you won't see a single drop, unless it's under the Frog in roulette.

I have gotten them from group maps. iirc, it was one of the high/low card game prizes.

Perhaps this was before they changed the loot pool. Same with indigo cloth.

This is absolutely not true. I used to get them all the time from the group maps because they were the only maps I did for the entirety of SHB before EW with my FC.

Well, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. You said you've done hundreds. I compared your experience, with my experience, plus what I've read online. You let me know when you see one and I'll step down from my apparent hot take. Loot pools were changed at some point. Maybe that was when you were getting shell leather from group maps.
