Maps being nerfed?

Lately decided to run maps with my friends, and every run we did (like 5 days for 3-5 maps per person), and almost half of the time we're getting kicked after the 1st floor. Or 2nd. And while I can believe in bad luck, it happens with different people on different doors. So is it only me?... Seems to have started since late ShB

It's just RNG. I've been in map parties with amazing luck with almost always getting to the 3rd/4th rooms, and some days we barely get any portals and get booted on the first ones.

Seeing one very small portion of it all in your party is a super small sample size to draw any conclusions from.

did maps and we got to like the 4th floor before getting kicked almost all the time. saw the last floor twice.

While it is definitely pure RNG, it does feel like the EW maps are worse in regards to getting to the final room(9/10 get kicked out by the third door), and have abysmally small chances of loot dropping from chests(in the 15-20 we did on Friday night, my group saw like 3 items to roll on, and I don't recall us hitting the last room at all, pretty sure we were kicked out at the third door at the latest).

"Forunately" this particular treasure map dungeon will be around forever, so there's no need to worry about not being able to get to the final floor all the time. gotta keep the rare drops rare you know... *think emoji*

Just now got 4 times kicked out from the 1st floor before getting to the 3rd on the 5th map.

RNG or not, it just feels very weird to get bad RNG from the start of the EW maps tbh

It's almost never worth asking about something RNG related on an MMO forum. People will line up to say "RNG is RNG" like it's some bit of divine knowledge. They don't understand RNG can be broken, and even if it isn't broken pretty much all games put modifiers and weights on things so it's not really as random as people like to pretend.

I've been repeatedly doing quite literally hundreds of level 80 maps for shell leather with my FC. I'm not even joking, we've done a hundred-odd of them now.

We made it to the end ONCE and not a single one of the maps has dropped a single thing of shell leather. It's insane. I am curious if they've done something.
