Hackers in Ragnarok?

Just noticed some pcs in Cedar Wood that are the same char gen, and all with similar names that look like they just banged on the keyboard... are they bots or a flash mob or what?

So whats up? I haven't reported it yet, but I plan on it because its just too damn suspicious. Anyone else see these guys?

Same thing on Aegis, even if you report they will be there for long while. GM's just going to tell you to report through STF from website.

Well I reported it to STF, its kind of disappointing to hear its just every where... I mean do they actually pay for each char slot? I really doubt that....

Unfortunately, I don't think they can be banned. Until these people actually try to sell gil (which probably won't be until 2.0 at least) they aren't actually doing anything against the terms of service.

thats the problem.

you know what they are going to do, but until the crime is commited, they wont be banned. and its understandable, after all, who wants to be banned on suspicion without proof, doing so opens up an even worst floodgate

You would be surprised go type "FFXIV buy gil" and see how many RMT sites exist for FFXIV....
I don't see why anyone would want to buy gil in FFXIV anyways but they do actually sell gil already... I want to see what kind of people actually buy them lol

I think the issue is its hard to prove they are botting. I know I see them there all the time because that is where I'm currently doing mining leves but I never see them do anything, they are just standing there.

catching them doing this is hard to do though, especialy if someone is monitering them from their side
