Keeps the bots busy, anyway.

Alphinaud and Alisaie should be kicked to the curb, they aren't bad characters strictly speaking but the writing should have stopped accommodating them years ago. They (especially Alphinaud) have been constantly making mistakes because of their naivete and hubris and screwing things up for everyone around them (and gets multiple innocent people killed) over and over since A Realm Reborn. These literal children have no business leading anyone, negotiating on behalf of anyone, or making any sort of diplomatic or authoritative decisions for the Scions or any other group. They should not be allowed to be envoys, diplomats, negotiators, or policy makers. The absolute MOST they should be doing is assisting Tataru with logistical work and housekeeping. Send these children home before they get even more people killed, I don't care how great their Grandfather was, they aren't him. That's my hot take.

Gonna necro this thread to offer my own take:
Job design was by and larger superior in HW, and Bard was at its absolute peak during that expansion.

A lot of jobs were pure kino during HW. Here is my hot take, the modern MMO fanbase will stifle this MMO until their rot becomes so bad they move on to the hot new thing their favorite "content creator" puts out for a video. The cycle will repeat and we will be having the exact same discussion on a different message board, lol.
The BRD part was the hot take, but I needed some lead-in context.
Alright, time for a nuclear take: TP was a good mechanic and being mindful of it was a big part of what made HW and SB melee fun.
