my hot take for the day is:
I mostly dislike sympathetic villains like Yotsuyu and Fordola. Not every villain needs to have a tragic backstory that explains why they are the way they are. Oddly enough though, I love Emet-Selch. Probably my favorite FF villain. Not sure what the difference is for me.
I actually like Zenos for that exact reason, he's not complicated, he just wants to have a good fight with someone that can actually beat him.my hot take for the day is:

...Aight, you've got me on that one. An entire world of hat-tipping, fedora-wearing m'lady types is certainly an exception. Those must not be suffered to exist, even if the rest of the universe has to die with them.
A fedora wearing husky neckbeard is going to rise from the depths like Cthulu to an endless choirs of m'ladys echoing in your head like Baal in the Diablo 2 intro cinematic. As we all fail our sanity checks.
