Final Fantasy XIV Hot Takes

As the title suggests, please share your hot takes on XIV here. I'll go first. The music really isn't all that memorable outside a couple of tracks. I keep many other games' osts in rotation in my regular listening, but not XIV. Furthermore, often after I hear it once when content is new I'll flip the music off and just pull up something of Spotify or YouTube.

The crafting system in this game isn't fun.

Would rather have traditional MMO crafting where you afk process materials then one click craft.

At least it wasn't Urianger popping up out of nowhere to hand us a magic stick to deal with the very specific thing we need to do, with two lines of exposition, and then poofing for the rest of that arc.
