Ended up getting a message from from support saying that it's because I had 2 Square Enix accounts that this happened. it's most likely due to an old account I had with the store which doesn't share with Mogstation or FFXIV. In terms they said that I'd need to have a new email address. unfortunately I try to give them a response for another email i had as back up in case I had an issue with my original and still haven't gotten a reply back. Also still am unable to log into the game as the log in error is still there and isn't being recognized. Shame since my log in has pretty much been working since 2.0
