As much as I feel like changing eye color sometimes, I disagree. Sometimes I think we should be happy for being able to change hairstyle and eyebrows hence many other games do not offer even as much. I wouldn't complain tho on getting something like glamour for the iris' - lenses or sth.
wow's barbershop (equivalent of aesthetician) allows you to change virtually every aspect of your character's physical appearance from skin color, eye color, various race-specific customizations, heck you can even change your character's gender all without mtx (still costs ingame gold to do this but you get what i mean)As much as I feel like changing eye color sometimes, I disagree. i would even be okay if they decided to implement changing your eye or even skin color at the aesthetician if it required some specific items that could be obtained through crafting
This is what other sub based mmos are getting for their ingame barbershop. That's why we should have even more options for customizing our characters with gil. Fantasia is unneccessary. Like, maybe keep it for changing gender and race, but like eye color (contacts) and nose shape for example (plastic surgery) are things that make sense to be a service from an in game npc. It doesn't even break the lore. After Hrothgar addition and taking into account their current limitations one will think that Jandelaine would be available to change more stuff... yet here we are, instead of supporting a consumer friendly practice we have certain users doing SE PR for free. I guess realism if only an issue when money it's not involved.Arguing for realism in a game where a two-and-a-half foot tall potato with a three-foot-long sword can stand up to a house-sized dragon while a hulking lion-man throws fireballs and a scale-crusted lizard-man casts healing spells and cat-people shoot never-ending supplies of arrows while playing music, and nobody bats an eye at any of it. Yes, realism is clearly very important here.

That would be nice, but I understand why they won’t. They make a ton of money off of fantasias, and I wouldn’t be surprised if changing eye colour is one of the bigger reasons. I mean, in a perfect world we could change anything about our characters’s appearances for free, colours, body type, race, etc. But, that’s not likely to ever happen. But who knows? Maybe they really will add eye colour to the aesthetician for free.
Ya, that’s true. Even Black Desert’s optional sub allows you to change literally everything about your character, and there’s not even an ingame gold cost. This is what other sub based mmos are getting for their ingame barbershop. I mean, if we talk about other games, I can only think of Aion and Rift, f2p, wheer you can literally change everything in game for a tiny sum of in game money, and TSW (rip), b2p, where you can change everything in game, the small things at barber for very lil money and the bigger things at surgeon for some good money, but both in game money. If you think about that, the fact that you have to pay extra in a p2p game is quite ridicolous, yeah.
Oh, and Elyon just like BDO has an item, in both cases that you can also get for loyalty, so not for real money, you can change freely how many times you want for x time 24+ hours).
Meanwhile Au Ra out there changed their eye sclera anytime like it's nothingAs much as I feel like changing eye color sometimes, I disagree. I don't see why not, they allow you to change your eye colour in Pokemon games whenever you want by saying you have contact lenses. (Some people say aesthetician should be things you can easily change irl: hair, make up, face paint. Eye colour can be coloured contacts.)
