Why is it every time someone makes a post about something they want, there's always one person like this who feels the need to come in gaslight everyone?
People were saying in this thread that they change their eye color to match their hair color, actually in response to Kesia. Or how they have enough contacts to change their eye color depending on the day of the week, so theres no “lore” reason why it shouldn’t be allowed. Kesia received a response to her statement, and answered the response by saying what you quoted. No gaslighting involved, just responding to what was answered directly to them.
Their first post in this thread implied they thought it was crazy for people to want to change their eye color with any sort of frequency.People were saying in this thread that they change their eye color to match their hair color, actually in response to Kesia. it'd be nice, for sure!
though honestly i wish there was a way to change your patron deity without using a fantasia.
to be honest this is mostly the result of my moronic self forgetting to change deity when using a fantasia on an alt. all i can do right now is buy another to change this one thing and it sucks!![]()
some people get scars tattooed on them :PYeah, it's a bit silly you can customize some things like scars and instantly grow out your hair but you can't change eye color?
Even if people want to go on about '' muh immersion '', glamour prisms are canon and could easily justify it just like how yes they justify every glam in the game or they could simply be wearing colored lenses.
Same goes for skin color too.
in all seriousness, why not? It makes sense that you can't change height/race/gender with the aesthetician, but eye color is pretty minimal all things considered
I like to think that things you can't change IRL at will (eye color) is something they want you to pay for, but then again, I look at hroth who can't change their hair at will, but can change their literal markings via the aesthician xD
Yeah, especially the skin tone.
It's not so much a thing of how often do you have to change it, more like things seen in the world are different from creation and you may realize later you'd rather have the color be slightly different, for me. And often you notice it when it's too late to reroll. Even worse, if you fantasia and the result is not what you expected, the only way to change it again is buy more fantasia.
Plus, if you actually buy an msq skip, you don't get the free ARR fantasia. Ironically spending money makes you spend even more money. Even though, I do get 1 free fantasia per char when I create them.
I think, if anything, the ridicolous thing is that the price to race/gender change completely is the same as changing a small setting, such as skin or eye color or height. If they don't wanna give us certain options in the estetician cause they get a crapload of money from fantasias, at least separate them. Make a more expensive race/gender change item, and a cheaper one for other changes.
I also wish you could trade fantasias between your characters, since on some I have 2 I'll never use while some others need many adjustements plus only got 1 instead of 2 for free.
I would LOVE this as I'd never have to buy a fantasia ever again. lol. Every character I make starts off with about 8 fantasias as I had bought them back when they were still account-bound items. But yeah, sadly that won't be happening.
Oh wow, that's a load of fantasias, it may be the reason why it won't be happening.
