PLD Anima Final Step stuck

I can't complete the quest "Best Friends Forever" as a paladin.

Frequency: Every attempted quest turn-in
World name: Malboro

Class/Level: Paladin/90
Party or solo: Solo
Area and coordinates: Azys Lla
Steps:
1. Attempted going through the end dialogue multiple times only to have the quest never get turned in.
2. Attempted to cancel the quest, start over, and re-complete it. Still fails to turn in.

So you talked to Ardashir, with your weapon and shield equipped?

After that, you talked to Ardashir with your weapon, shield and Archaic Enchanted Ink in your inventory?

Is there space free in your inventory when handing in?

I actually figured it out! It wasn't the location of the items(inv/equipped/armory). Apparently EW messed up the allocation of the stats with the sands lady in Idylshire(stat squish). I just went back to her, reallocated the stats, and was able to go back to Ardashir to complete it!
