Comparing to Carin's profile picture, it looks like the AI has misread the scar over the left eye and is also struggling to make sense of the face markings, because of course they're not on the human faces it has been trained with.

Also note that the cat ears have been interpreted as part of the hairstyle.

As for the gold piece, I'm pretty sure the Thavnairian headdress does have one little part that sticks out in front of the hair like that.
