So.... why the Races from FFXI?

Tactics - Has its own set of races for this series of FFs
Crystal Chronicles - Has its own set of races for this series of FFs
MMO - Has its own set of races for this series of FFs

It feels like each genre of spinoffs differentiate themselves from the core Final Fantasy Franchise by using distinguishable races. Of course the MMOs are under the number system of the main franchise, but the genre can be argued as different.

So if anything, the repeat in races is meant to distinguish the game as an MMO.

it should stay that way i don't want Ivalice and its in inhabitants bleeding onto another game. Eorzea is a new world with new potential.
