You say no one has denial issues yet you can say this bull? The races are the same for the people WHO WERE MOVING OVER FROM FFXI AND WANTED TO RECREATE THEIR XI CHARACTER. It's as simple as this, this is the SECOND FINAL FANTASY MMO just like every damn generic MMO out there has an Orc, Troll/Midget, Elf and Human race of some kind...no different. They look similar, but they have completely different backstories, but if you play both games, you can still call them galka/hume/mithra etc because that's the name most people used for years.

Yet people would be perfectly ok with them using Ivalice races...XIV players can be such hypocrites about their hate.
