Equalize Castrum/Praetorium XP

Either make them both have the same XP, or remove msq from the daily roulette. Make it a weekly or something, I don't know, but I'm tired of sitting in MSQ queue for 10-15 minutes only to have half the party leave when Castrum pops because "PrAe GiVeS mOaR xP."

If you equalize the exp between the two you just move the problem from castrum to prae.

Not really. The time it takes for one to get back into queues, let alone if they’re a DPS who’ll have to wait a good 15-20 mins extra, isn’t worth leaving Prae. Nearly an hour just to *possibly* get Castrum, bc of the 30 min lockout. You’d have been done with Praetorium at that point, or very close to it.

It’s not about “oh well this one is shorter!” It’s “well while this one takes longer, it’d take even *longer* if I were to castrum-fish.

Just because the roulette has a daily bonus doesnt mean you have to actually run it every day. If you dont like it, dont run it. I speak from experience. I havent run this roulette in years, and i am happier for it.

Oh, but it is. I run story roulette when I am at my desk doing other things. It's a great way to get a huge chunk of exp while only paying attn for a couple minutes here and there between cs. So, its 110% worth me dropping castrum to wait for prae, since I am taking no time loss. I have things I can do for work; I have other hobbies and projects I can work on, I can make dinner or do some house cleaning, all while still getting a decent amount of exp on an alt job, it's fantastic passive exp.

The only ppl this is bad for are console players who are locked to their sofa or ppl who have an extremely tight schedule. But for the rest of us, it's almost free exp.

Everyone wants this game to be super casual, regardless of how it effects other ppl's enjoyment, until its casual in a way that affects their own enjoyment.

Wouldn't that just cause the opposite problem of people quitting the longer one for the shorter one then? I don't really think there is an answer to the MSQ roulette outside of them just remaking those two missions to be soloable or introduce trusts earlier into the game.

Its really annoying i had couple of 4 or 5 people left the party for Prae every single time -.- once they’re in, they leave lol

I'm talking about leaving Prae to fish for castrum. Not the other way around.

Don't queue for MSQ roulette. Problem solved.

The "half the party leaves if it's Castrum" is also an exaggeration. I rarely see anyone leave Castrum, and only once have I seen more than 2 leave. Out of those occasions, there was only one time where the party hadn't refilled by the time we cleared the trash going to the first boss.

I don't think equalizing the experience would reverse the problem. You can only do MSQ roulette once a day. Not everyone cares about the time invested, they just want to get the largest experience reward with their ONE daily roulette.

I'm not the type of person to drop from CM whenever I get it, but I certainly groan about it because I know I'll be getting far less experience. If the experience was equal, I wouldn't particularly care if I need to sit there an extra 15-20 minutes because I got praetorium instead.
