I did it in a lot of runs just for the novelty, though I only know /comfort worked for certain, and you do have to be close enough to them.
If someone said this to me that'd be the last heal they got lel.
It sucks when you die as a healer to watch the tank and dps continue the fight without a sweat.
But it does feel good when you're the only dps standing together with the tank and latter throws heal at you to stay alive.
Can't wait to ditch healing entirely when I max out BLM.![]()

small tfdf story, but it shows exactly one of the issues of this community:
brayflox hard, I'm on drk, doing the first big pull, which is easy as frick... and I die, after using shadow wall, rampart AND living dead, and the, sorry, a**hole of a healer has the gall to berate me that I should've used mitigation. use your fricking eyes, the fricking battlelog or a parser or whatever and see that I used everything I've had available and I still died due to the bad dps and your even worse healing, you belligerent a**hole. but of course he wouldn't, as one of the dps was queued with him and it couldn't have been either of the two who weren't up to par, no, it was the tank that literally used every single mitigation they have sans reprisal and arm's length and you try to gaslight everyone into thinking it's their fault. and about the bad dps: I did the most dmg throughout the whole dungeon, more than the drg and fricking machinist, which is stupidly OP at this level. healer was a mentor, of course, I wonder if they'd have still pulled that crap had my crown been turned on... probably
I either ran into a troll or a very new to mmos and or oblivious to XIV's lingo in Stone Vigil. It was an inprog as a dps. They hadn't even gotten past the first set of mobs when I joined. I start looking to see what might have caused the dps I replaced to have noped out so fast. I end up seeing a pug. So I ask and no I don't specify as they're the only one without a job stone why are they missing it. The tank replies with that they have theirs on and the healer wonders what do I mean and asks who doesn't. I don't know why but any time I point out someone is missing their's it's never the person who isn't wearing theirs. The pug says they want to become a Sam when they grow up.
Which ok. So I ask if they have it and I link mine in chat and the pug asks what the heck is that. And I tell them that's what a job stone is. Also explain what they'd have to do in order to unlock Sam. They reply with what's 2.0 and yes they answer that way for everything else stated. Thus either completely clueless or a troll. Meanwhile the healer keeps on getting confused about what's going on in chat and I'm just telling them that I'm just wondering if the pug has the stone or even the quest unlocked. We get to the last boss and the pug not only gets hit by paralyze they choose to stand in the ice patch. It takes the healer on top of my don't stand on the ice comment for the pug to stop doing so. It wasn't a bad run, but just the way they responded with what the heck is that or what does it mean to almost everything said in chat made me suspect their behavior.

Sounds like a healer and dps combo I had during a Doma Castle run. Every single pull I'd end up popping everything soon after I'd finish pulling. They both told me that's what I'm supposed to do. I told em that's not how it's gone when I heal. Like yes I know I should use my defenses throughout the pull. Except I was needing to do so right at the start of every pull because I'd be at 10% hp before getting any healing. Then staying around there while the healer would just be dpsing. Not even Alphinaud who any time I choose to try and test his reflexes ends up being that horrible. Even on the rare times the EW dungeons forces a "big" pack on you.small tfdf story, but it shows exactly one of the issues of this community:
