I wish I'd taken a screenshot. I had someone in Sphene EX yesterday who kept removing my phase 2 "AFK" markers in favor of Coronation markers. I pushed back on this, which eventually culminated in them openly admitting that they are unable to find the corner of a square unaided. Spoiler alert: even with Coronation markers, they had absolutely no idea where to go, so they clearly were lying their way into a party much further along than they were.

Got the 87 dungeon for leveling roulette. I'm on DRG. I'm not a good DRG, but I have a vague idea of when to properly backflip out of danger.

The entire dungeon went perfectly fine up until the last boss. The tank said they'd never tanked it before. I told them to yell their name really loudly and pull everything. They did not yell their name really loudly, but they did pull everything and did just fine.

The healer, on the other hand, rescued me out of one of the final boss's aoes right before I backflipped. So I wound up backflipping into the death wall instead of where I wanted to go. I dashed to the boss to get out of the death wall, only to get hit by the aoe and killed. While dead, I said "please don't rescue anyone like that again" in party chat. The RDM ressed me, I got up, the fight kept going. About 30 seconds later, I died to unavoidable damage. The healer was just standing there and died to something shortly thereafter. They said something in party chat like "tired of people dying all run, go ahead and be butthurt about me trying to help you, this is why I don't use rescue". My response was "I tried to backflip to the safespot, look how that turned out", followed by me taking the res from the RDM. The RDM also ressed the healer, but they didn't take it and it timed out.

The RDM ressed the healer a second time, and it timed out a second time.

I was too busy trying to keep my scuffed DRG rotation together to notice how much Vercuring the RDM was or wasn't doing, but I credit him with the fact that we survived that pull. Both for all the resses and for him finishing the boss off with LB2 after I died to unavoidable damage again. Right before the boss died, the healer send a paragraph in party chat complaining about me complaining about his rescue, and telling me to "F off" at the end for daring to notice it amidst all the other "problems" happening.

Like, bro, the very first death we had all dungeon was during the final boss and it wouldn't have happened if you had kept your rescue to yourself. Yes, people were taking vuln stacks earlier (particularly the tank on the second boss), but it wasn't anything run-breaking the way you deliberately letting two resses time out almost resulted in us wiping to a boss we managed to kill without you.

So I commed the tank because the RDM left immediately after the boss died, said "now who's butthurt" in party chat, and left. I legitimately don't understand why my remark upset the healer so much that they decided to stop playing entirely for the rest of the boss fight, but that's for them to figure out. Easy blacklist, post in TfDF, move on with my life on my end.

Get E6 for my normal raid roulette and it was a circus as expected but what really made me mad was this one tank that had the nerve to complain about not getting an esuna for concussion (You can't esuna it in this fight, they failed the mechanic) when they murdered DPS at least five times with the tank busters throughout the fight by RUNNING AT THEM AS IT CAME OUT. I have half a mind to report them for griefing cause I refuse to believe someone could be that idiotic without trying on purpose.

This always makes me unreasonably mildly annoyed to be at the top of the DPS enmity list, I have the lowest personal damage in the game, I make one of you deal 10% more damage just by existing, what's the excuse!

This always makes me unreasonably mildly annoyed to be at the top of the DPS enmity list, I have the lowest personal damage in the game, I make one of you deal 10% more damage just by existing, what's the excuse!

This, as a healer main who also tops enmity list unreasonably often, I consider to be a mindset issue. For me it's an achievement to be best DPS and often when I do play a DPS job I give a commendation to someone who generates more aggro than me. It makes for a happier time, doesn't mean I condone people being that bad at their jobs but it's one of those laugh or cry (or be mildly annoyed) things and I choose to laugh.

Oh, do note that I am being playful about this, I used an oxymoron like "unreasonably mildly annoyed" to play it up, does it annoy me? I mean yeah, but it isn't like anything that is going to ruin my day, I just roll eyes and move on, I have plenty of "It is what it is" in the tank to handle this stuff, I can also see that I was easily the best-geared DPS in the party just from looking at HP values so that's probably a huge contributor to me being ahead, and the VPR did LB3 properly when it was clear we didn't need a Healer LB crutch, and I consider that a win enough in my book.

Whenever I'm DPS and a DNC is higher on the Enmity list than me (usually when I'm BRD, so not *that* big of a surprise), it really pisses me off and makes me work harder. In the end, I have to give them the comm because apparently they were a damn good DNC.
