Ranged players; if you get the stack marker, bring it to the boss. Don't stand out at the far end of the arena and expect the tank and melee to break off and run to you. You've got mobility, use it.
Tbf, I will spam my afflatus (usually between pulls), to get that misery in. Would be nice if we had another DPS option, for lily spend, when there is no need to heal.
The Tidal Wave is still the single deadliest part of that fight.
Especially the time I learned the hard way that it could come from the back of the platform, not just the sides.
Seven out of eight people washed away.
No, I was not the one.
No fight can compare to Titan EX in a party consisting primarily of PS3 players. Hooooo boy.
Pretty soon the PS4 guys are gonna be in the same boat.
How's the quote go? Ah, yes. "Time flows like a river, and history repeats."
Survey will also accept "time itself is a circle" and "there is nothing new under the sun."

So yesterday I learned that, on an alt working on drg again, that Anima only does the dps check after a certain amount of time has passed, not after hitting a certain percentage. Pair that run with a BRD that always seemed to be not doing much and a SGE not doing much dpsing. This lead to the dungeon taking 30 minutes to clear.
DRK and DRG can only do so much dps before things get sus.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
When I'm playing melee and that happens, I don't bother going to them. When I'm on a ranged, I try to always be within a range where the melee can still hit the boss if the stack marker is on me.

As for a story...more like a question for tanks.
WHY! Why do the majority of tanks I get decide to stand BETWEEN the two sets of mobs for a pull, rather than run THROUGH The second set so the majority of them are gathered into a smaller area on one side of them? And why is it happening more and more where a tank will pull the boss, and keep the boss facing the entrance to the arena?
Lately, it feels like 99% of tanks stop right at the second pack of mobs rather than pull through them. And even fewer pull them towards anything else to put them tighter together even.
:sweats: :gulp: T-t-to my defense.. I do this only to bosses that really seem to love facing South (or toward where the party came from) whenever they're about to do an AoE/mechanic i.e. all Troian bosses. Might as well keep them as stationary as possible.
This on the other hand... *cry in targeted 5y circle AoE*[...]Lately, it feels like 99% of tanks stop right at the second pack of mobs rather than pull through them. And even fewer pull them towards anything else to put them tighter together even.
