I got some time today to do voidcast dais (couldn't get a group yesterday)... I watched Mizteq video beforehand so I had a brief understanding of the fight but got killed a few times, more than I like, but I'm a bit rusty after not playing for a few weeks really.
I'm curious why such a boss design?. It's hard to see where is he facing, some mechanics go one after another and you need good practice to be on point. I would say it's more than EX 2 fight. All of that while it's a MSQ fight. At some point they will add NPC with "follow Yshtola" mode but what gives? I guess on patch week everyone is progressing and quickly getting groups but later on, it dies.
As a side note: for me it was like a low engagement moment. Some guy in weird armor was in cutscenes and now we have him as a trial after his minions. Few dialogues and nothing much else from a blank character. I know it's THE Golbez from some FF but I didn't play that not to mention now it's somewhat different.
