I think not rolling when they are doing something wrong is how people get around a vote kick. They know they are immune as long as loot has yet to be won.
See it all the time on alliances but only on the CT/LotA.

I'm confident enough to do most of the dungeon content as DRk (I have a DRK and WAR on my main and a PLD on my second alt) but since I'm playing less, I haven't repeated the story content enough to be confident for tanking the trials. Usually all my characters have one of each role (for variety). I needed a lvl 80 character to start story (and grab SGE) so I did the one class I hate leveling. XD
Reading this thread, some guys are like "save LB3 for the tear" in the Chrysalis is a mandatory mechanic, otherwise is a wipe. Far from it, any decent party can pass the add phase from just dpsing it, not LB3 needed, and then blame any dps sprout using LB3 on Nabriales like they did an unforgivable offense. Talking from experience here.
"Only tanks soak meteors" now, THAT is a good advice.
Speaking from my experience, most people in the chrysalis are too busy trying to soak meteors even though someone said “focus the tear, tanks get meteors” and wipe the first pull because our one DPS doing what they should didn’t have LB3. So yeah, I’m in Camp Save LB3 for the Tear.Reading this thread, some guys are like "save LB3 for the tear" in the Chrysalis is a mandatory mechanic, otherwise is a wipe. Is that another reason why people get pissy when people don't roll on the chests in between the first boss and the last?
I always forget that the loot chests can prevent vote kicks, and honestly I just don't ever bother with the loot until the final chest unless there's something I want. I mean I don't troll and I do what I'm supposed to in whatever given role I'm in, but I have run in to a handful of people that get really, really upset about it mid-dungeon.
early to mid? Oh yeah absolutely. If gear is to be won any troll is immune to being voted out and they know it...so they refuse to roll and often will push to keep pressing forward while doing the minimum if anything at all. Once all gear is won and no one is in combat...a vote can be initiated. Is that another reason why people get pissy when people don't roll on the chests in between the first boss and the last?

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
Today's been a day, how about all y'alls?

This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
I just wanted to post a positive duty finer experience.
Today I finally finished Stormblood for the first time (V'aren Rhiki is my original character and the one I did it on). Did I mess up on the first boss because I got confused and get killed? Yes, yes I did. I made it through the rest of the dungeon without issues.
Not only did the group wait patiently for my cutscenes but they waited after the dungeon just so that they could cheer me on into Shadowbringers. Rave sticks and all. It reminded me how really terrific most people are in this game overall.
It was exactly what I needed as Stormblood really didn't grab me and as an end result took me near a year to finish. I actually feel hyped up to move into SHadowbringers. Thanks to those 3 wonderful people who never forgot what its like to see the first time.

I think some people just like having the LB3 as a safeguard of sorts. 3 dps dead? No problem. Just nuke that tear and the clear is all but guaranteed. It's not a requirement. It just makes people feel safe.Reading this thread, some guys are like "save LB3 for the tear" in the Chrysalis is a mandatory mechanic, otherwise is a wipe. You underestimate the amount of awful DPS rolling around in duty finder. You're right - it's not essential to killing the tear in time, but a not insignificant portion of players are so bad that you do basically need it if you want to survive the phase.Reading this thread, some guys are like "save LB3 for the tear" in the Chrysalis is a mandatory mechanic, otherwise is a wipe.
