The first boss is always a fun ride. It's a wonderfully chaotic "Welcome to Dun Scaith!" fight. It really catches people off guard. Kinda funny though that the following bosses are for the most part way easier. Mostly because they are more easily recoverable if things go south.

I've seen 17 people get blown off the first boss of Dun Scaith in one shot. They certainly stepped up after Void Ark.

I was the problem doing Alexander today. We cleared, but for whatever reason I was butter fingers casting the wrong spells.

Then during the fight where you have to turn into animals I would be damned if I could figure out how to cancel them. So there I was, the healer, wandering around as a bird waiting for the affect to expire while the other healer is working overtime. Sorry about that whoever you were, but I do also find it kinda funny.

A tale from party finder, but amusing nonetheless:

Farming Ruby Ex for the gwib, and a dancer joins the party. Omni-90, battle mentor crown, BIS pentamelded gear.

Proceeds to die minimum 3 times each pull, consistently 8 on the aggro list (with an astrologian in the party...). So I got curious and opened up the program that shall not be named, and whaddaya know, they're sitting pretty at 4-6% of total damage. Everyone else, including the 3 (!!!) other dancers in the party were all doing about 15ish% so it definitely wasn't a bad pull or two skewing the averages. Half the pulls they needed to be reminded to Dance Partner someone. At least once, I'm pretty sure they intentionally stacked on me for undermine despite there being PLENTY of space free.

Troll? Bought account? Really off day? Who knows.

What I do know is that they were the first one to get the gwib and then they immediately peaced out. Because of course lol.

At least after they were replaced, the remaining 42 runs (yes...forty-two; kill me) went a lot faster.

(Ha! Just looked them up on the forbidden website, and I honestly can't say I've ever seen someone parse a literal 0. I mean I guess someone has to, huh?)

Got a Hells Kier normal in roulette as a WHM and many were new so i was prepared for those phoenix resurrection and such but that wasn't really the problem.

What felt weird though was seeing the co healer with a full 610 set and it was just pressing random buttons: a random Medica with party all topped off, a random Holy, I think I saw a random Benediction with nothing happening... i was so confused that I ended up forgetting to heal the tank that much as I was focused on keeping the rest alive (plus not getting used to see all Suzaku's mechanics, we managed to loop too).

Felt like the healer just discovered the class for how it behaved, it couldn't be a bot though...
