They legit outright nerfed it; it's even got Echo added to buff everyone.

This is a problem with tab-targeting large/tall bosses in general; if you cannot see their nameplate, it will sometimes not consider them 'seen' and will not target them.

    Two alternative options:
    1. Bind 'Target Focus Target' to a hotkey, then focus-target the boss. As an added benefit this works to quickly re-target the thing you want to target in scenarios like, say, P3S where you have four Darkened Fire spawns that are invulnerable until you remove their buff. As a healer, if you need to switch targets to spot-heal someone and then try to tab back to the boss, half the time you will probably end up targeting a Darkened Fire instead.
    2. Bind something to Next/Previous in the aggro list. I have my mouse scroll wheel bound to this (and Control+Scroll Wheel for zoom in/out); I can thus just use the scroll wheel and zip my selection up and down the aggro list. And if there's only one enemy, as with the High Seraph, just scrolling the wheel at all will target them. For multiple enemies, with sufficient practice, you can get the muscle memory to know exactly how far to scroll to get X number of enemies lower/higher in the list. (As an added bonus, since the opposing team in Crystalline Conflict is treated as an aggro list and I have been doing this long enough -- e.g. two years -- to have that muscle memory, I can target an opponent almost instantly.)

I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.

    P6N for weekly token.
We had a couple of new people.
At one point (The Chorus Ixou + Polyominoid + spinning front/back cleave) it quickly went from 8 people alive to just me (SCH) and both tanks.

I glanced at the LB bar and confidently press LB to get everyone up.
    Except...

...apparently the bar is not quite full to 3rd yet. So I wasted it. LOL
End up raising everyone one by one.

    Aye that

And yes, doorbosses have that issue.
If you stand in their hitbox(mostly) and have the camera turned away, you straight up can't target them.
It's VERY annoying for healer and i'm glad i have Benison/aquaveil/Excog and other stuf flike that on a macros because i will not struggle with that more than i have to...

Honestly DF doesn’t really phase me these days because I’ve seen and malded over it all, and honestly have stopped caring about people playing suboptimally in casual content (up to a certain extent of course).

On the other hand, I feel like a “tales from party finder” or “tales from your static” would satiate my hunger for drama much better given how sweaty high end content can be…

I did this once during a Ruby EX run when it had just dropped. I somehow survived with the tanks and I panic LB'd without noticing it wasn't full yet. Was suuuuper embarrassed, apologized, but everyone was super chill about it (and I think it was because it was probably impossible to get the full bar before a wipe?).

On the flipside, when I was still a sprout and I was doing Tsukiyomi for the first time, everyone but me (WHM) and a tank were left standing because I think the entire party forgot about the moon phase mechanics. So, while I'm desperately trying to stay alive, and trying to find a safe spot to LB3, the other (dead) tank is SCREAMING at me to use the LB3. Spoilers, I couldn't/didn't and we wiped. We respawn and the tank begins to endlessly /slap me and start berating me on how stupid I am. Bruh. Thankfully a few of the other party members told him to leave me alone, to chill tf out because this was my first time and that he's free to leave if he's not going to be patient with sprouts. He ended up staying and no one died to the moon phases again and it was a wrap. Tank left without another word and I ended up swimming in player comms.

I'm not sure "Tales from Party Finder" would be hugely different than "Tales from Duty Finder" save by degree, but "Tales from Your Static" is an idea both fascinating and horrifying in equal measure.

I feel like people would be okay with it if static horror stories were posted here. I just don't think I've ever seen anyone post any.

I don't know how many people would actually post about static drama in general though, because that kind of falls into a category of airing your "dirty laundry" out to the public.

Yeah, Party Finder is basically the same as Duty Finder. Completely random people coming together with a common goal. It'd probably fit just fine in this thread. I know I'd have a few tales to tell.

My first time in Dying Gasp. I was the last one to finish watching the cutscene. Five seconds after the battle commenced, I decided to be main tank since the other tank hadn't moved nor put tank stance on.
The other tank started a countdown soon after I rushed Hades with my tank stance turned on.
He also provoked the boss seconds later and took over as main tank.
Reflexively, I apologized for starting before the unprompted countdown. Besides that, no biggie. At least we finished with no wipes, one death (not me, yay!), and I got a commendation.

Clearing out the rest of the alliance raids today. Or at least trying to.

First time aglaia and honestly, it was easier than Orbonne Monastery.

Then moved on to clear the level 60 araids because I sort of skipped those.

First time void ark ends in 5 commends- other healer is first timer too but they're a sprout, so they end up munching on the dirt a bit. But what makes this run rough is the fact that another healer in another alliance is actively trolling, yoinking their tank around with rescue non-stop and pulling everything asap for the whole alliance. They couldn't vote kick fast enough and half the raid gets cleaved a few times for it. It was also a mess for some other mechanics.

Weeping City is alright minus a couple of tanks cleaving the entire party.

Dun Scaith is a disaster. First boss I feel like I cast res at least 10 times. Ended up burning a LB3 at the end as we had a lot of people dying on the final one.
