Ultimate raids are not WoD. I main sage and have cleared Ultimate and I honestly don't have a clue what half the Alliance raids do because I nearly always run other content and don't need the roulette.

I avoid Alliance like the plague because I'm well aware people like yourself exist who laugh at and ridicule non-sprout players for not doing a flawless run on their first few times. That's honestly far more stress than a Savage or Ultimate where it's steady prog with like-minded players and mistakes are for learning from. Grow up.

I didn't ridicule them in-game, but it also wasn't just them not knowing araid mechanics. They literally had no idea how to play a class that they had maxed out and had i605 gear on. No Kardia, no Eukrasian Dosis or Eukrasian Diagnosis(they manually cast Diagnosis), didn't use any Addersgall abilities. And again, I mentioned they had no idea how to play their own class.

Sounds to me like you're just defending someone who probably bought their clears. Maybe you sympathize with them a little bit? Perhaps you know exactly how they feel?

What if that SGE was doing something else while in WoD and not really paying attention to the raid? I don't even know the number of times I died in casual content because I'm watching a YouTube video or cooking while playing and I don't really look at the screen.

Nah, I basically don't know any mechanics of the level 50/60 dungeons because I've always just brute-forced through them (and still got my burger king crown, that I don't wear, and legend titles), who cares?

I dunno mate, if you're so distracted by something outside the game that you start doing this, maybe don't queue in the first place?
Or if whatever it is distracting you happened after, just stop, apologise, do whatever you need to do, and come back.
Or leave.

Like, I get that this content can be pretty effectively facerolled, but when I queue up to do content with other people I've taken the concious decision to dedicate my time to them and that content for however long it takes to get it done.
Otherwise you're basically just deadweight looking for a carry, and that's pretty bad form my dood.

Castrum, the second one. I was wondering why things died so slowly. Had a White Mage that didn't do a SINGLE damage spell the entire dungeon even when I pointed it out, never gave a response. Didn't look like a bot though. The Black Mage hard casted Fire 3 until I pointed it out to him, at least he listened to advice but there were lots of times where he stood there brain afk and didn't cast anything. I think I've never seen Gaius Bar go above 50 since the dungeons were reworked. I killed 2 of his adds all by myself.

well I mean the average 24 man run is absolute chaos. you have people dying from mechanics, standing in aoes, people killing other peo0ple with failed mechanics/aoes, tanks spinning the boss like a top, having to solo hear becasue your groups other healer can't stay alive for more then 5 seconds, somebody across the room somehow managing to kill your entire party people not knowing what their classes buttons do etc. finding that more stressful then healing 8 people when generally know what they are doing for a ultimate is not that crazy

At that point then they've gone from being bad to just being a leech. I guess it's up to you to pick which one you prefer but chances are you'll defend it either way.

I didn't point this out due to looking for someone to rip on. I know full well that people have bad days, but this was a really, really big low.

I can understand thinking someone with a Legend title probably brings a certain level of gameplay and expecting people to pay attention regardless of content.
But not so subtly accusing someone that they may have bought their clear as well (and don't pretend you didn't and hide behind "but I never outright said you bought the clear thehehehe") is really, really low. You could've easily checked for yourself how likely it is that someone bought the title, it doesn't take much effort.
But I suppose randomly accusing strangers of buying clears just because they see things differently is easier.

It was a low blow and it was on purpose. It wasn't for the fact that they had a differing opinion, but because they waltzed in here, ignored half of the details I'd mentioned and proceeded to mention how I'm a problem and that I should grow up. I suppose you'll defend that? You're both friends though, so I doubt you'd ever bother considering the fact that your dear friend could possibly do anything wrong.

I'm a very simple person. If you want to disagree respectfully, then we can disagree respectfully. The moment you start taking shots then I won't hold back anything at all.

I figure a legend title means someone knows one specific fight fairly well, and knows at least one job well enough to perform acceptably in that fight. It does not mean they know every fight in the game. It does not mean they know every job in the game. I mean, I have Legend friends who are quite good on their chosen DPS jobs and who I enjoyed watching as they streamed their prog, but who I would not trust to heal even alliance raids, much less savage.

Admittedly, I do tend to expect that someone with a legend title will at least understand the basics that are common across everything in the game -- keep the GCD rolling, keep your DoT ticking, how the majority of the basic building blocks of mechanics this game uses work -- but even then, they're only human and could have an off day.

(Though that will not stop me from giving my friends shit in voice chat on those off days, when they do something really dumb and eat a mechanic they absolutely know better than to eat. "Ultimate Legend, by the way.")

Lb2 right when i stopped moving for mechanic.

This happened twice (in different parties) in P6S PF for me this weekend: each time, someone assassinated half of the party during Exchange of Agonies by dropping a donut halfway between the wall and center, thus taking out the entire center group (e.g. all the other DPS) and one healer out at the edge (invariably me, because apparently the southeast corner spot is cursed) as well as dying themselves. The one surviving healer waited until the LB3 was filled... and anxiously hit LB the instant before it did, thus setting off healer LB2 instead.
