To enter the code:
1. Log onto the MogStation (or if you're already logged in, skip this step!)
2. Make sure you already have the game bought and registered if you haven't done so already.
3. Go to Your Account, look for and click Enter Recruitment Code. Then enter my code or any of the other codes others have posted.
4. Log into the game and wait patiently by the Mail Moogle and enjoy the free items!

Like stated by another, you want to do this before you set up a subscription, otherwise you won't get any of the bonus items that comes with the code!
